A strong first half, a so-so second, was Casey Scorpions coach Brett Lovett's appraisal of his team's performance against the Coburg Tigers at Coburg City Oval on Saturday.
The Scorpions won by six points but conceded three goals late in the match.
At one stage in the second quarter their lead blew out to eight goals.
