Some issues -
Only 18 rounds in total with each team having two byes (therefore only playing 16 matches) - The senior competition play 20 matches. That is a significant difference in my book - the senior competition plays 25% more matches in a season that the reserves. Unworkable in my opinion.
The Reserves competition finishes a week before the VFL seniors competition - therefore does that mean the VFL reserves premiership will be played perhaps as a curtain raiser to a Senior Prelim Final? Again, if thats the case I'd be incredibly disappointed with that scenario.
Typical AFL Victoria, a dog of a reserves draw, little thought put into it and a whole heap of "who gives a f*** about the reserves competition" attitude I bet.
