I have been told by the Head of Audience and Consumer Affairs of the ABC that:

When is AFL coverage complete?!!!!!
VFL matches are not just on Saturday afternoons and some matches have already finished by half time in the AFL match.
More than once I recall hearing a VFL curtain raiser match final siren but the scores were never mentioned.
After AFL matches there is just drivel about the match which often runs into the next AFL match preview and/or game. I have never heard VFL scores, at least in real time. As for Ross Booth's report, it was sometimes on about 6.25pm Saturdays in years gone by. This time is now usually occupied by another AFL match description.
I have not heard VFL scores on ABC radio for the last couple of seasons. Has anyone actually heard ABC radio give VFL scores?
