All pre and post game discussion in this thread please.
It's been a great rivalry for well over a hundred years, and this weeks clash between Port and Williamstown will be one of the most eagerly awaited stoushes in the two clubs' rich history.
With both clubs in the top 4, this one shapes up as a ripper. Williamstown absolutely demolished the hapless Devils, chalking up 31 goals in the process, but sustained injuries to Bulldogs-listed players in Higgins and Williams.
With Eade at the Doggies suggesting a few players will be rested at Footscray, the contingent of AFL listed players might be reduced at Williamstown, but their VFL list should fill those spots very nicely.
It seems unlikely that Scott West will make his return to football for Williamstown this week.
For Port, its a chance to square the ledger after a disappointing last half when the clubs met earlier this year. The Borough more than did enough to polish off a depleted Werribee last week, but it will be a huge challenge, but the scales tip back a little in Ports direction with the game being played at TEAC Oval.
Hopefully a big crowd turns up, but it's not helped by going up against the live ABC TV coverage and the earlier start of 1PM.
