It appears the VFL plan to play a Prelim Final on the Sunday, then expect the winner to back up just five days later on the Friday night.
Can someone explain how this will work?
It's going to pose a very challenging week for the winning coach - rehab Monday, then what - one training session on the Wednesday? Hardly ideal preparation.
Can you imagine the uproar if the AFL gave a side just 5 days to prepare for a match that means so much? Why have the VFL clubs not questioned this with the VFL?
If I was a club representative, I'd be furious about this possible scenarios happening to my club.
