I tend to agree with Phil Cleary on the issue, it's time to ditch the rule.
There's a tribunal who can deal with the matter during the week after an incident, I don't think there's a need for the rule in the VFL competition.
If a bloke is hot under the collar, I support a 15 minute yellow card, but I think red cards are over the top. We don't often see incidents like today's in the VFL competition anymore.
