A QUIET achiever. There is no better way to describe North Ballarat defender Matt Sharkey.
He is one of the Selkirk Roosters most decorated players.
Sharkey is a two-time VFL premiership player and a club best-and-fairest, having tied for the honour with Michael Searl in 2008.
And he is quiet.

BRAD Fisher, David Hale, Chris Johnson and Leigh Harding head the list of AFL players set to do battle in the VFL grand final between North Ballarat and the Northern Bullants on Sunday at Etihad Stadium.
The VFL affiliates of North Melbourne and Carlton will meet in the decider for the second consecutive year with a host of AFL-listed talent to play under coaches Gerard FitzGerald and David Teague.
