THE Werribee Tigers have signed assistant coach Paul Satterley as their senior coach for next season, replacing Simon Atkins who quit the club at the end of the season.

Satterley's appointment follows a swag of coaching moves in the VFL this week, with Coburg Tigers also signing a former club assistant - Adam Potter - as senior coach to replace David Newett, who was upgraded to Richmond's coaching panel for next season.

''Adam has impressed the club with his enthusiasm throughout the interview process and is greatly looking forward to his return to the Burgers,'' Coburg general manager Lee Fraser said.
