AFL Victoria is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Stanguts to the newly created position of Media Officer working within Marketing and Communications.
Anthony has spent the past 10 years at the Eastern Football League (EFL) as the Media Manager where he has overseen the rapid growth of radio, print and digital media.
Anthony’s role will include overseeing all AFL Victoria publications, websites media coverage and ABC broadcasts.
Each year at the EFL, Anthony recruited, trained and engaged a volunteer media team of up to 20 contributors, many of whom have since progressed into roles within the mainstream media. Anthony will use this experience to expand the AFL Victoria volunteer ‘Community Media Team’.
Anthony, who will commence on Monday 14th February 2011, will be a welcome addition to the AFL Victoria Marketing and Communications team.
