As Box Hill is not quite fully Hawthorn, and it has abandoned its traditional "Whitehorse/Mustangs" nicknames, perhaps it is ready for a name change? A possibility could be Hawk Hill. Another is Box Thorn, something prickly and (ob)noxious.
