Ok here is my prediction for the top 4 and a few reasons why.
1.Williamstown
2.North Ballarat
3.Casey Scorpions
4.Port Melbourne
Qualifying Final#1 Williamstown vs Port Melbourne at Teac Oval.
Qualifying Final#2 North Ballarat vs Casey at Eureka Stadium.
*Williamstown should win all remaining games. Only danger game would be the Werribee game. Not on form but for the fact that these 2 teams dont like each other and an upset could happen.And has done so in the past!
*Roosters wont finish lower than 2nd. Id expect them to also win all remaining games but Casey is virtiually 8 points behind as they have a low percentage. No way the Roosters could drop 3 out of there last 4 and Casey win 4.
*Casey play Box Hill, Gold Coast, Bullants and Werribee on the way home. They will finish either 3rd or 4th. Gotch and his men have an intersting run home with some very tough games. If Casey slip up and only win 2 more games they would drop to 4th and play Williamstown most likely at Teac Oval going on the formula from past seasons. If they win 3 or more they would head up to Ballarat!! Very intersting situation for the boys from Casey, where would they they like to play???
Port Melbourne has a mini final this week. Being so close to the pies on the ladder this week is a 8 point game. If Port win they then would probably only need to win 2 out of their last 3 games of which they play Sandy then 2 home games against Geelong and Frankston. This week is a massive game for the club. A win and a qualifying final against Williamstown is on the cards.
With many players to return Id expect Port to win their last 3, or 2 at a minimum to grab 4th spot.
** The reason I have Willy playing at Port is because 1 Qualifying final is always at Teac Oval and with Nth Ballarat finishing second they will play at home. This has been the formula for the past 8 years. "Best fit" I think Hook and his men call it!
