UPDATE 2pm: ANDREW Lovett will join his new East Perth teammates tonight before his playing comeback in the WAFL in two weeks.
The sacked St Kilda recruit Lovett is set to resume his playing career in a fortnight after agreeing to join the WAFL club.
East Perth beat several VFL rivals to secure Lovett, and Royals coach Tony Micale hopes the nippy midfielder will suit up for their May 29 home clash with South Fremantle at Medibank Stadium.
