Had this discussion with StationHotel tonight. When did the two clubs meet?
Could the Murray Kangaroos who were an North Melbourne created side playing out of Lavington count? Otherwise this is another instance when the clubs last played for points back in the mid 1920s prior to the Roos moving over to the VFL.
I seem to remember the two clubs playing a practice match in the late 90s but I can't find any reference to it on my notes at home.
