Lumley is the custodian of the impressive VFL Footy News website (www.vflfooty.com), which began in September 2003 and has steadily built a good following.
It puts in deep shade the VFL's own website, which apart from carrying scores on Sunday nights, isn't worth a sausage.
VFL Footy News has about 170 registered members and many more guests, and carries articles from daily and regional newspapers and lively forums.[/quote]
Well done David - much deserved recognition and I think I speak on behalf of all users of this site when I say this is a much appreciated resource for VFL news and I really hope it continues to grow in 2005.
In other IF news:
- Coburg have signed Josh and Adam Houlihan. With other players such as Michael Rix and Dale May, they are looking strong for 2005.
- Adam Littlechild has left Frankston, but they have picked up the talented Ricky Morris from Dandenong Stingrays.
- Bendigo have 11 Pioneers on their list, including Favalaeki, K.McGlynn and Sam Barnes. They also have 205cm Sam Steel.
- Ben Setchell has signed a 2 year deal with Tasmania.
