A Geelong footballer has reportedly been charged with possessing and trafficking cocaine.
The Geelong Advertiser reports the 25-year-old man is a premiership player.
He is expected to appear in Geelong Magistrates Court after being arrested on drugs charges earlier today.
Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested this morning as part of an ongoing drug operation investigation in Geelong.
The man has been charged with possessing and trafficking cocaine.
This morning’s arrest follows a series of drug raids executed on four properties in the Geelong area last Friday.
Police said the raids saw police seize over $3000 believed to be the proceeds of crime and $50,000 worth of drugs from the properties.
