With one team disadvantaged by having just a five day break before the Grand Final, what do people think of the idea of holding double-headers during the VFL final series?
The SANFL have been doing it for quite a few years, and it generates not just good footy, but some very good crowds. Last week saw them attract 16,000 to Adelaide Oval for the Elimination/Qualifying Finals, while the Semi-Finals yesterday (Sunday) drew 22,500.
Obviously our crowds would be on a smaller scale, but could it still be a worthwhile drawcard? Do you think that it would ensure a fairer finals series?
