How would you rate, the media coverage in your local papers on the VFL?
Following on from a post in another thread, do local comps get more coverage than your VFL side?
I work in the City of Moreland, and the Moreland leader has very little Burgers news in comparison to the Soccer, and even the U18s.
I picked up a copy of the Emerald Hill times (Port Melbourne) and they seem to have dropped Sport altogether. It's nothing more than a glossy mag which is 90% real estate.
In the Western suburbs, there is good coverage of Footscray, Williamstown and Werribees game, as well as the WRFL games on the weekend. The Footscray Mail, Western Times and the Star (I think its called that).
What local papers do you receive, and what is their footy coverage like?
