Was a very enjoyable week 1 of the finals, pumped to see Willi manage to come from behind to win that. McLaughlin's marking in the last quarter was something else. I think beating Casey on their dunghill will be a tough ask unless the Dees have sent a heap in for early surgery etc.

Will also be interesting to see what the Bulldogs do, assuming Gold Coast beat Essendon and they're out of the finals, wouldn't be sad if they shelved a few and made life a bit easier for the Dolphs!

Frankston have improved since they last played them, would be pretty incredible to see them straight into a prelim. We can only hope! They are a team with a lot of belief, a lot of connection and a lot of fight, so it is possible.

Frankston can beat Footscray. Will be easier if gold coast beat Essendon in afl. Frankston have not got a good record against the bulldogs. I'm not sure if they have even beaten the bulldogs. As you said Paul, Frankston have improved out of sight since last meeting. Confidence is sky high. If Frankston can get a good start they definitely can win. Should be heaps of dolphins supporters there. Williamstown have got a tougher game at Casey but match up well. Good enough to win. Casey are very good when they are on but can be inconsistent. McLaughlin is a gun. Think Southport can knock off box hill. I know Southport was beaten by box hill a few weeks ago but can reverse it. Box hill have had back to back losses against footscay and Casey. In the final game think Brisbane will beat Richmond. The tigers have surprised this year. Not without some chance but favour Brisbane at home. Interesting that all games are on Saturday.

No question we can beat Footscray. I believe this is the best Frankston team to ever take the field as they are right now.

But right now I think we need to be barracking hard for Essendon on Wednesday or we're going to be playing a lot of Western Bulldogs players. It would be a pity to lose to a stacked side, as the momentum at Frankston is at an all-time high right now. Yes there will be plenty of us at the Western Oval - I believe two buses have been filled and there's just as many driving over themselves. Let's hope for a cracker day!
