Looks like the club with its tunnel vision for night games (Dolphs only play 1 home game in daylight for the entire season) might be creating a team that is only competitive at night, at Frankston. Havent played well in their 3 day games so far.

Unfortunately if it's not a Friday or Saturday night then most of our fans don't bother showing up.
That being said, I don't think the night games are the issue. Truth is this team's execution has looked off all season. The wins against Port and the Bullants were painful, let's be honest. Richmond, Coburg, and Sandringham were won after a single good quarter. Our disposals and ball skills are worse than last year and we're getting away with it against the less good sides. Once we go up against a genuine flag contender we get exposed.
I don't understand why we're performing worse when, on paper, we should be a better side than last year. But I've been wary all year and now it's become quite alarming. With our draw it's no guarantee we make finals this year.
Quite a few form issues with some of our top players. Murphy hasnt had the same impact as last year - his disposal at times has been terrible. Grey missed most of the year and hasnt found form yet . Johnno has struggled most of the year, Taj has been out injured. Grant has had a pretty ordinary year in the ruck -had his pants pulled down against Sandy, and was dropped which has created other issues. While Coe is promising using Ellison as backup weakens our scoring power, or taking Smith from the backline causes massive structural issues. So plenty of problems, and they will need to start turning it around pretty soon. I agree that finals look doubtful as things stand and to compound it even further we only have a percentage of 96%
We haven't had a proper ruck since Liam Reidy got drafted. Grant has done well enough these past couple years but we need a main ruck option. That has to be the priority for next year.
