My strong preference is for all games with standalone clubs being at 2pm on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I can think of nothing worse than a night game in the middle of winter. If Port is going to have night games they should be at the start or near the end of the season.
The occasional TV game at a different time is OK as long as it is after 1pm.

Fixture must be lost in the ether somewhere, still nothing??,on another note, seems a big story is unfolding with one of the most successful suburban clubs in melbourne about to be hit with huge salary cap scandal, watch this space
No Saturday AFL games on 7 until at least Round 15
Couldn't agree more Kentessential (and welcome to the site).
Thanks for confirming the date Robbo.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
The VFL have to tell C7 to stop dictating to them how their fixture should look and just bloody well release it!!
Great to see some new (overdue) posters to this great forum. Welcome !
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
It's surprising that on the poll ( https://vflfooty.com/are-you-favour-vfavfl-being-played-saturday-nights-... ) no one has opted for trying to keep the games on a Sunday afternoon as Channel 7 have covered in more recent years.
Maybe its the shocking start times of 10 and 11am that the clubs (hopefully) have pushed back on.
Fixture release remains indefinite delay
“it’s a total mess”
Tried to ring the VFL today on the number listed on the website and of course it’s disconnected, the AFL really treat this competition like joke.
it must be just as frustrating for the clubs.
