Any major captaincy annoucements for this year?
I see a somewhat interesting choice of captain down at Coburg - Travis Ronaldson. The bloke can play no question about that and I think he'll be an outstanding recruit for them, but popularity and pre-season form aside, I have to say I think its a sad situation where a bloke who has not once played a match for the club is handed the captaincy. And I'm sure it won't be the last time it happens given the way this competition is heading.
If I was a passionate supporter of a VFL club, I would be disappointed to see a somewhat unknown player, yet to prove themselves in my teams jumper, leading it.
Thoughts? Agree or disagree with that comment?
