Thanks for the information about the Alessio injury, NorthPort. Yes, hopefully there's no damage. It wouldn't surprise me if Paddy Farrant comes in for him, since Farrant was an emergency this week.

Tom Graham did indeed have a very good game. There have been games where I was critical of him but others where I thought he looked like a good addition to the side (I had him as one of our best in the Essendon game, although I'd say that was also our worst overall performance of the season). In this one he and Fraser Rosman seemed to be almost everywhere in defense - both kept turning up at key moments. It was a great performance by the whole team in those crazy last minutes to keep Geelong from getting a goal and retaking the lead. And it was very good to see the in-game adjustments after turnovers were a problem early

Glad to hear about your conversation with McCartney, Mega - there's certainly a lot to be pleased about over the past few weeks. I'm also much more optimistic about the Giants game than I was a couple weeks ago - not entirely sure what to expect there but things are looking a whole lot better.

They do look better, I think it’s the first time since 7.9.19 that we have gone 3 weeks without a loss. Not an overwhelming statistic but just goes to show how much of a hard slog it’s been for us post Covid. Regarding Allesio from the replay it sounded that he didn’t lose consciousness and was talking to staff as he was being stretched off. They also believed he would be taken to hospital with ambulance but I don’t recall seeing that happen and doubt it did despite my 2 ouzos, 2 hard solos, a 18$ cafe martini, half dozen beers.

The past few years certainly have been tough. Good to see improvement even if it's slow.

James Hird also spoke to Alessio as he was being stretchered off the field and it looked like Alessio was responding then also.

Where are you finding the replay? For me the VFL website is only showing the highlights and the mini-match.

I had to watch the replay using the 7+ app on the TV.

Yes the defenders really stepped up, and that was also with the loss of Highmore with what I believe was a shoulder injury too.

Spiny as per Nortjport I watched it on the 7+ app on my smart TV but will most likely give it a proper watch tonight as I'm uncertain how long it'll be up for.

Highmore was a dislocated shoulder. I'm uncertain about what that means in terms of time off.

Thanks, Northport and Mega. A dislocated shoulder is an interesting one - if it's the first time I'd guess he'd be back pretty quickly, just with lots of strapping. The big problems seem to come when it dislocates repeatedly.
