Season 2012 - Peter Jackson VFL
Was looking forward to seeing Ben Waite play against his old club. Provides a great physical presence that the Dolphins lacked last week when he was out injured. Unfortunately it looks as if he hasnt pulled up in time.
Here's an interview with him anyway:

Gerard Fitzgerald is again on radio "3BA-FM" 102.3 MHz, at 8.30am Fridays (not Good Friday -- it was on today), talking about North Ballarat. Also usually mentioned is some Ballarat area football, then the obligatory AuFL tips.
For those going to the game there are going to be disruptions to train services and road closures in Bendigo.
Train:
Buses are replacing trains between Melbourne and Sunbury. Temporary timetable is available at http://www.vline.com.au/pdf/timetables/bendigo1.pdf

Ok I'll set the scene for everyone.
Northern Blues are playing at home against Williamstown and are on the verge of a huge upset leading by 23 points with just 1 quarter remaining.
The Blues defence lead by regular Carlton backmen Jamieson and Duigan have only allowed the Seaguls a paltry 6 goals in 3 quarters of football...
Under instruction from above, Carlton full back Duigan is made to sit out the last quarter...Williamstown go on to kick 6 last quarter goals to pinch the victory!
Foxtel Cup
Morningside defeated Launceston at Metricon Stadium
MORNINGSIDE has recorded a comfortable 33-point win against Launceston in the Foxtel Cup clash at Metricon Stadium, and in doing so booked its place in the qualifying finals of the competition.
The Panthers trailed by 19 points early in the first quarter as Launceston got the jump, but Morningside came storming back to chalk up a 12.10 (82) to 7.7 (49).
Giving away two silly 50-metre penalties didn’t help Morningside’s cause early in the game, but it lifted its work rate immensely to lead at quarter-time.
