JAMES Podsiadly is eager to continue with Geelong's VFL side next season.
The 28-year-old switched to the Cats this season from Werribee and said he had enjoyed his time at Skilled Stadium and was looking forward to extending that.
"I haven't signed as yet but I'm sure I'll do that pretty soon and I'm looking forward to going around with the Cats again next year," Podsiadly said.
"Hopefully we can go further in the finals. I'm definitely stoked that I came over. It was a pretty tough decision to make at the time, but the way that this club is structured, it's a great place to be."
VFL operations manager Ben Waller said he expected resigning Podsiadly, who won the Cats' VFL best and fairest award last week, would be a formality.
