The players from the defunct Northern Blues team are being giving the option of joining Sandringham for 2020 VFL season. I think this is a great idea.
as part of the season rumours suggest Josh Fraser will take up the vacant coaching role.

AFL announced late today that the 2020 VFL season is happening with the 8 standalone clubs. A start date and a number of rounds etc. and fixture still to be determined.
NAB League will also return.
No news yet on VFLW
Good news at last. SA govt is allowing a crowd of 2000 to watch Adelaide v Port Adelaide on Saturday. With zero cases in Victoria in the last 24 hours hopefully Chairman Dan will follow suit and release the handbrake when footy starts.

Clubs are becoming increasingly confident a VFL season will go ahead and, despite lingering issues such as crowds, officials are drawing closer to a consensus on when the season — and round 1 — will be played.

With Casey Fields out of action with Melbourne AFL side training there. Reports suggesting Casey Demons will use Shepley Oval as their base for training and home games. Thoughts?
