Byes- Port Melbourne, Richmond, Southport
Good win by the Dolphins in a relatively low standard affair. North were poor for most of the night - hard to believe there were 13 AFL listed players in that team.
Same old for Frankston - Newman and Fordham standouts again, Mynott very good in patches, Walker good with 4 goals and Riley had his best game for the year and not far off last years form. Love the way big Reidy is coming along. Coleman-Jones had the better of him overall but he did some nice things. A work in progress for sure.

Howdy
Wondering what people think about how the VFL will be affected following Gills resignation. Is this a positive for the VFL and grass roots football or is it too difficult to tell what direction the comp will go? Did Gill have a big involvement in the direction of the comp or was it somebody else's baby ?
Ild like to see stand alones given greater assistance by doing away with the mandatory 6 player under 22 rule and the reintroduction of the development league in its place - wishful thinking I know.
