The Dolphins announced their Team of the last 50 years last weekend. Plenty of nostalgia and some great names in the team. There were plenty who were stiff not to make it. Names like Shaun Pollard, Paul Williams, Paul Kennedey, Glenn Brown, Russ Gabriel, Justin Pickering, Sean Millane , Steve Hammil, Peter Vandermeer and Simon Goosey, would all be worthy inclusions.
Its a pity the selection criteria of having to have played 50 games for Frankston has precluded probably the two best ever Dolphins...Aaron Edwards and John Parker. Both were electrifying players who were classes above their team mates and their opposition during their time at Frankston. Nonetheless a great team was named!
