Hoping to be able to get along to this game and if I do, I'll post up my thoughts.
It's still two weeks away, but fair to say I am pretty excited!
The more I look at Port's recruiting this season, the more I think we are a realistic prospect of a top 4 finish (and that's without even a practice match being played)... I know.. I've gone early.
If Port can get through the season without the number of injuries to key players I think we will be in for a very good season.
North Ballarat supporters how has the summer period been, and what are your expectations for the season? First year of going standalone is one hell of a tough task. Williamstown did it pretty well, but had that solid depth of consistent development league performers over several years and were well placed to make the transition.
