THE jungle drums for Brendan Fevola to return to the AFL are deafening after Saturday, with the former Coleman Medallist booting 10 majors as the Casey Scorpions smashed Northern Bullants by 100 points at Casey Fields.
The Scorpions have now set up a bumper clash with ladder leader Port Melbourne in the opening week of the VFL finals with the match another opportunity for Fevola to showcase his renewed enthusiasm for the game.
Casey general manager Brian Woodman urged AFL clubs to take a second look at the former Carlton and Brisbane player, who in current form is the best player playing outside of the top tier.
"Fev continues to be the player that everyone expected him to be on the field," Woodman said.
