VFL Grounds...major changes from last year?
Surely a few of our favourite VFL grounds have changed a little over the summer break. Nearly died of shock to see the Coburg kiosk has had a total makeover. New tiles on the floor and walls, new fridges...it has scrubbed up a treat. By the look if it they've contracted the catering out but its fair to say the canteen down there needed it. Any other new facilities of note at the VFL grounds?

The surface at the Frankston ground is the best I've ever seen it...and I've seen it under water before,,,,today it looked great...

Perhaps it will now only take a few minutes to get served instead of a quarter.

[/quote] And they now serve hot chips! :lol: They've also repainted and cleaned up the Social Club too.

Do the changes at Coburg include putting doors on the dunnies? Casey Fields still needs a scoreboard for spectators on the scoreboard half of the ground.

I noticed on 4 August 2013 that the four public cubicles in the one and only men's toilet block at Coburg have doors.

Casey Fields now has electronic scoreboards on both sides of the oval, when they work.

Geez. You'd hate to want to have a poo.

A few clubs now have it catered out.

The elderly lady's still do a magnificent job at bother Eureka & North Port

At Eureka the same ladies do the catering today that did the job 40 years ago. Fair dinkum.
On Sunday it was very clear that the role has clearly passed them.
It was suggested a couple of years ago that they should consider giving it away & it nearly started the third world war.
That's why they are still there.
