With the Saints supposedly staying at Moorabbin now, I reckon the VFL should expore the possibility of being involved in the grounds redevelopment or at least using it for matches on a more regular basis.
The ground already has reasonable lighting, it wouldnt cost a lot to improve it a bit. I really think the VFL need their own ground. Port Melbourne has always been used as that ground - but maybe Moorabbin should become the home of finals and possibly a night match of the round as we had back in 2000. Port's ground is too small, has never undergone the improvements it was meant to have and to me doesn't feel like much of a home to VFL football.
