Post your thoughts on how to improve the VFL Footy website.
Hi all, please let me know if you are experiencing any issues with the website upgrade.
There has been a lot of work done on the backend as well as a brand new look.
There will be a few days of interrupted access to the site this week as vflfooty is upgraded to a newer version of the software.
Expect a few minor hiccups over the coming days, and potentially some posts over the past week being lost. I will endeavour to get them back up onto the site in some form.
Any errors or unusual behaviour of the site can be reported to at vflfooty@vflooty.com.
Just a heads up that we have been getting a few dodgy spam accounts posting content.
I have deleted the content and accounts, and for the short term any new account will require admin approval (until I can sort out the issue).
Cheers, David /NorthPort.
Hi all, apologies for such a delayed start to the season.
I'd appreciate you letting me know which features are currently missing and require work.
I'll shortly be re-adding:
Let me know what I've missed.
Also, currenty the forums indicate there are zero posts in each board, however that is a bug I am trying to work through at the moment.
cheers,
David.
Hi all, just letting you know I am having a few issues updating the site. I hope to have it fixed later this week and prior to Round 1 of the VFL season.
Apologies for the outage today. Some annoying not managed to get an account created and active.
I've now deleted it and a host of other similar accounts. Let me know if you have any issues.
Cheers,
David / NorthPort
I'm still ironing out the bugs and the https://www.vflfooty.com/ secured site 'should' be working. If you have trouble logging in, try the older http://www.vflfooty.com/
If that isn't working either. Send me an email at vflfooty@vflfooty.com.
Hi all, just letting you know there is an issue uploading images and files to the website just at the minute. I'm trying to fix it and will let you know when it's up and running.
You personally may find that the uploading of attachments is working fine for you. If so, ignore this message. It appears to be a bit hit and miss.
cheers,
David / NorthPort
Hi all, just a quick note to let you know that the website will be moving website providers sometime between now and the 7th of September. Hopefully the transition should be painless / trouble free. But just in case it's not, you'll understand that its not your computer/phone/internet :)
cheers,
David.
Hi all, just checking if people are having issues with the website being very slow to load (a big dis-incentive to browsing the website).
Let me know, as I have some alternatives that may address the issue.
cheers,
David. / NorthPort
