The Dolphins look bloody good. Watched a bit of tonight's game against Collingwood and Frankston look sharp. Move the ball quickly and structure up quite well too.
Dolphins looked really sharp. Used the ball really well and have a pretty potent looking forward line at the moment. Thought there'd be a good crowd but didn't expect to see that many. Great win.
I watched this game instead of the AFL last night - fantastic result for the Dollies both on and off the field - I kept waiting for the Magpies comeback but it never eventuated - the four AFL premiership players did SFA but they'll all go back in to the AFL next week no doubt except for Cox maybe
It's honestly pinch yourself stuff at Frankston right now. The crowd figures alone are mind blowing. I can't see how Jackson Kornberg doesn't coach in the AFL someday.....the man is a genius. Tactically shrewd, but such an intelligent reader of people and how to stimulate them to just the right point. And yes, he's got the boys peaking at just the right time of year. The forward line that has looked disjointed for much of the year is suddenly a potent force. Ellison is as dangerous as any forward in the league, while Matt Johnson and Bailey Lambert lurk at every fall of the ball. Noah Gown drifing down when required and completely interchangeable with Ellison at any moment. Then you have Harrison Jones who has come from the clouds to be a dangerous mid sized forward drifting into the gaps. They work hard to keep the ball inside 50, and are dangerous in every stoppage or pack situation. Harrison Coe is now competing with strength and confidence in the ruck, and we're not suffering in the middle like we were. Lloyd and Barlow are hard to penetrate down back, and with Voss and now Milne back the rebound out of defence is top notch. I don't know how far this will go, but we're in for a hell of a ride for the next month.

I'm doing the double next Saturday. Williamstown v Collingwood followed by Frankston v Carlton. Hopefully seagulls and dolphins double.
Fantastic result by a team playing as a team against a bunch of AFL listed duds.
If ever you doubted the fact that they are no better than the VFL lists last night proved the obvious.
Great to see the Dolphins right up there & hopefully better things to come.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Hey Digs, remember that old saying?
"A champion team will always beat a team of champions.."
