Hope everyone has had a great summer. Sorry for my absence, it's been a busy time. Butland is a bit of a loss for forward depth, but agree Bearsman, he would struggle to fit well in the current setup. As for Connor Riley.....well done Port, good luck to ya lol

Outside midfielder / link up player - good motor and runs well but I cant remember anyone with such poor disposal skills playing for Frankston in the last 10 years. Not unusual for his kicks and handpasses to miss by 5 - 10 metres.

Had injuries last year but his form was terrible and hardly got a game. The only time Ive ever been happy with one of our players going to Port lol

Connor has been a great servant for Frankston, don't get me wrong.....his gut running is great, has pretty decent pace....never a question on endeavour.....but as Bearsman said, execution isn't flash, nor decision making.

Sonny Campbell-Farrell (Stingrays, Rye) added to Frankstons list replacing Colby Nayna (Edi Asi)

I'm assuming he's related to Taj in some way? If he's got a similar level of talent then he'll be a good pickup.

I feel a bit sorry for Nayna because he stuck around despite not getting many chances last year, but not overly surprised that we've moved him on.

Hes Taj's younger brother. Good young player. Taj was a bit more advanced at the same age, he was able to come straight from the Stingrays and make a big impression and hold a regular spot at Frankston in a strong team in his first year. Not many have done that over the years, Cavarra, Pongracic and Hibberd are a few that come to mind, but its pretty rare..

Im not surprised about Colby either. Heaps of ability but it appeared the intensity needed at VFL level was always lacking and he mostly looked very casual. No way he was going to get into the team this year, so moving on has at least given a young guy his opportunity.
