These things shouldn't happen
Body:
Bit of a sook here, but two things worth raising. Firstly, at Preston yesterday and at Sandringham on Anzac Day the reserves games have finished before 1.30pm. Maybe its just bad luck. But yesterday we saw one side have to sit and wait on the ground for 25 minutes because the senior team was in the rooms. Football Victoria moved the start time from 11.20 to 11.10 in the middle of last year. Time to admit that was a bad move and push them back to 11.20. Secondly, one reserves player yesterday visibly had an incorrect long sleeve guernsey on under his VFL club jumper. I'm sure leagues at suburban level and amateurs issue fines for those sorts of things. This is the VFL and all players should be wearing the correct uniform and more important the club should make sure their players are provided with the correct gear. Maybe I was the only person who noticed it, but that is one person too many in my view. Does anyone know if there is a fine policy in the VFL?
