What a great win by Port today and what a great leap in standard from the comp Port was previously competing in. I never thought id say it but I found VFLW to be very entertaining with its increased skill levels. Quite evident was the fitness, improved kicking and marking ability from last season - id recomend it to anybody wanting to check it out.

On a side note Northport - spoke to your father for the first time today - nice man.

Hi MegaA, my dad occasionally posts under 'Lum'..great that you bumped into each other .

I watched the game online today and also found it entertaining.  The standard has improved out of sight and we are playing  good attacking footy. I'm hoping we get a home game if North Port Oval isn't tied up with Cricket finals.

Hi Digs, yes we managed to gwt them back in early May.  It wasn't easy with flights being cancelled left right and centre and difficulties with transport through high exposure sites.  

Fortunately it all worked out in the end.

Your wish has been granted Northport - Port will play at Northport this Saturday at 2 p.m. v Williamstown. Port will go in favourites in what hopefully will be a season that sees Port beat Willy on every occasion (like to have something to banter my Williamstown friends with) :)
