Yesterday Collingwood's Paul Luciara took a mark over a field umpire.
He was awarded the mark and the game was allowed to continue.
Can someone then please explain to me what CONTACT WITH AN UMPIRE MEANS???????!!!!!
I am completely confused (again) as to why...............
a) He was not reported!! Isn't contact with an umpire a reportable offence?
and
b) At the minimum, no mark should be awarded and a free kick should have gone too the opposition.
But then again, it's probably just another AFL listed player thing........
