Box Hill Hawks Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Steve Kenna for the next two seasons.
Kenna, 25, spent the last three seasons in the SANFL with South Adelaide where he established himself as a standout midfielder/small forward finishing runner-up in the prestigious Magarey Medal in 2006.
He joined South Adelaide in 2005 after one season at AFL club Carlton after being drafted from Box Hill Hawks after the 2003 VFL season.

Couldn't be happier about this! Great to have someone come back to the club., as Alleway did after his time with North Melbourne. Had a great year in 2003, and helped steer the club to the Premiership decider! Losing Kenna, Bailey, Smith and others to the SANFL really held the club back . . . great to have the little crowd favorite back on board.
Good to see him back in the VFL competition.
