Coburg URGENTLY needing volunteers

Submitted by BrekkyDJ on

Coburg Football Club has put the call out on Facebook for volunteers they urgently need.

If you can, pass the message onto anyone/any forums you know - they certainly need a helping hand with the alignment about to come to an end.

Well done on promoting this BrekkyDJ. Would hate to see a old VFA club disappear in the next few years. The northern suburbs require a strong stand alone once Richmond pulls the plug on Coburg. The Northern Blues generally will only look after Carlton listed players.

Would have been a good fit for you Lauschie !!!

Haha Digs. Had I bought that unit in Coburg North a few years ago maybe. I know people like Robbo and Graeme Crocker(Williamstown) help out other clubs if they need it and it doesnt clash with their club's commitments. Our man Geoff Ayres at Port Melbourne, helps out Frankston as a trainer at times thoughout the year too. I think that is outstanding by those three guys and any other people that have the time to help out any footy club in need.

Just a gag Lauschie.
I reckon that Geoff was involved at Springvale also a few years back ??

Geoff is a true VFA diehard that has had more clubs than Captain Spalding. He would help Coburg at a drop of a hat and so would Graeme Crocker if it doesn't clash with the seagulls. There are some real genuine people that would put their time and effort when required.
