Another solid second-half effort from the Bullants. A strong cross gorund wind turned the game into a scrap, with Setanta O'Hailpin's five goals the highlight for the Bullants who ran out 17 point winners.
The Bullants fifth win of the season came on the back of a five goal to one thrid term. After an even opening, Williamstown had the better of the Bullants for much of the second term and with Jeremy Dukes giving out of form defender Karl Norman the run around the Seagulls took a nine point lead into the main break.
Norman can count himself lucky that Luke Stevenson and Michael Hooper are injured, as I'm sure on current form he would be close to be dropped to the Bullants reserves.
The Bullants dominated the thrid term, with Troy Longmuir, Setanta O'Hailpin, Glen Bowyer, Justin Davies and Chris Bryan being some of the main contributators.
Down back Josh Vansittart played his best game of the year and was unlucky not to be judged best on the ground by the ABC commentary team. That honour went to Justin Davies, though I note that the coaching staff didn't include him amongst the best.
For the Seagulls Matthew Lokan, Cameron Cloke, Jeremy Dukes and Shane Woewodin were amongst the best.
The Bullants head to Tassie this week to take on the Devils, which looms as a danger game.
