That was the word at the AGM of WCC on Monday, apparently the footy club has had enough of the Bulldogs lack of co-operation amongst other things.
Even after spendind $3million on the redevelopment there's still plenty left and with an extensive list of generous sponsors and ongoing income streams this can be achieved without any problem.
I can't wait to get my club back again.
Willy should put an asterix against it's 2003 Flag and bite the bullet to stand alone. I'm guessing the dogs will try jump back in bed with Werribee. No way could it afford it's own reserves team. The west need a stand alone VFL team, there's too many local kids not getting a game or being dicked around by stupid selection policy.
Brekky it was in Inside Football this week that Williamstown was looking to break ties with Western Bulldogs at the end of this season. Even though they have a contract until the end of 2014. Things must be going really badly....
Well Observer, (and Willy supporters can confirm for me) the Dogs held 3 or so players back from playing, instead keeping them in reserve for a Bulldogs game.
When you get treated like a plaything, time to cut them loose.
Is this true?
Sources please.

Congratulations CGull and all Willy faithful. Fantastic news, not just for you and your club, but for the VFL in general.
The VFL needs standalone clubs and in 2013 it should have four!
I'm bloody excited for you blokes if this happens. Williamstown has too much going for it to be in an alignment.
Hopefully some of those lapsed members get back on board too.
So with Bendigo and Willy going alone what then happens to the Western Bulldogs?..do they go it alone as well?,,
I reckon they'd have to Zebraman.. who could they align with?

And Willy reserves are 13 zip, surely a couple more should be in the side!
