Lance OSWALD, unfortunate accident
i would just like to let you know about Lance OSWALD a younge player from Murray Bushrangers/Shepparton. Unfortuantly went down in a training drill last week. He badly broke his leg and will miss the season. He is in and out of hospital undergoing surgery on his leg and i believe he is having plates put in to his leg this week. All players were shocked when it happened and there was a scary hush over the ground at training when all the players had to holt training to get him off by stretcher. All players have been very supportive to Lance often going to see him in hospital and keeping his spirits up! was looking like a promising year from lance oswald. Just reminds you how quickly it can all be taken away from you!

Lance must be devastated. Do you know how it happened Rhino? Hopefully the club will find some match-day duties to keep him involved where possible so that he still feels a part of the Borough's season. Wish him all the best from us.

The drill was a short handball drill where players cross over from many dirrections with about 3 players with bump bags. Lance apparently tripped and had a player with a bump bag by the name of Steve Laurance fall on top of him while his leg was cought in a awkward spot. Steve was just as saddened as lance was at the time, maybe even more so. Players also needed to support steve laureance at the time it happened. It was all a big rolling ball of accident actions.

Geez, that's terrible luck for the kid. He is pretty talented too, I remember a game I saw him play for Murray last year where he just dominated. Fingers crosseed he makes a successful comeback.
