You are not playing Sandringahm FC tomorrow just a very poor st kilda seconds mob playing at the Beach Road Oval.Sandringham FC died a couple of years back.
Mega, every Sandy game Ive been to in the last couple of years its been noticable that the nearly all of the people supporting Sandy are St. KIlda fans. If they do have members they're not going to the games.
What would you expect ? Have a look at this forum there are only two Sandy people left me and Blackrocker there used to be 5 or 6. That says it all
!f you see him at the game Wally remind him who was right about what would happen under his watch and who is being proved 100% right every week and that it was him and his cronies on the board that sold the former powerful Sandringham FC down the creek and maybe into oblivion!
he was at the game billy, sitting up at a table in the social club with a number of older chaps but i didn't bother him, he was probably very happy with the result
Not quite sure billy, we got off to a good start with the breeze going to the Sautner/Alf Beus end and except for some poor kicking for goal could well have had a 2-3 goal lead at quarter time. After that we just seemed to struggle and turned the ball over consistently with poor kicking and handball and decision-making. Having said that we got back to within two goals of Sandy/St Kilda by mid-way through the last and looked like we were going to steal it but then gave away two more goals with errors. A poor performance really and Sandy/St Kilda were definitely the better side on the day. It's a bad sign when a young kid on debut can jag four goals against blokes who have played AFL football and/or a lot of VFL football.
They were wearing the traditional Sandy strip on Sunday, but i did overhear a lot of people in the social club talking about the situation with St Kilda. It seems the general concensus is that Sandy simply cannot afford to go it alone so are shackled to the Saints for the time being at least. Who knows what the future holds for any of our clubs.
