After some patchy form of late and a couple of recent breaks, Port Melbourne are back at home with a raft of players returning to election eligibility.
This is a game where Port should be looking to really make a statement to the rest of the competition that the club will be a genuine force in September action.
Adam Bentick has missed so much footy in the last year or two, hopefully he can get a few games under his belt, because at his best, he should be in Port's best 22.
Ryan Gale is also a handy inclusion after missing a large patch in the middle of the season.

Port will want a strong showing and will be desperate to get the 4 points. I noticed in Inside football it had 12 senior players missing in its last match and this really brought them back to the pack. Has the "Weapon" been doing some part time work at Port??
Its no coincidence that when Port were firing early in the season it had Bonaddio, Dwyer, Gale, Woofindin, O'Farrell, Williams and Dillon in its side. Will be very important for the Borough to get some games into a few players before finals.
Bentick will be a bonus as hes only played 2 senior games so I believe and 1 was in the Foxtel Cup.
Port Melbourne v Box Hill games have really delivered the past 4 years so Im looking forward to this one!!
12 missing Burra !! When you get them all back it will be terribly crowded.
Love the VFL grand final at Etihad Stadium.
Yeah it's been a terrible run! But we will def find a spot for most of them as they usually pick themselves of form & ability.
It's really hurt the 2s as well, 5 wins isn't really a true reflection of the talent at the club. But that's footy!!
your a shit stirer digs.Well written there burra.Big game for you boys this week digs
Just heard on Twitter that Sam Dwyer has a broken leg
They are all big Jason, The Roosters are paying the price for those early defeats when we had "20" senior players missing.
Seriously though we would be very lucky to make it.
If we did I am sure that we would give a good account of ourselves.
It is a lot more open this year & a lot will depend on who the aligned clubs can avail themselves of.
After changing my mind a few times during the season, I now think that Geelong will be the hardest team for you to beat come crunch time. The were very impressive last week.
Love the VFL grand final at Etihad Stadium.
All comments re Sam Dwyer in this thread.
Digs we might try get special permission from the VFL so we can fit all our stars in the team for the people of Ballarat to admire in the final round. Maybe a 10 man bench...
Burra, If the Roosters go over this weekend, It will probably be be just as easy to give you the 4 points & save everyone's time & effort in the last round. Mission impossible to beat a team with so many champions. !!
Love the VFL grand final at Etihad Stadium.
To quote Roy & HG, too much sarcasm is barely enough .....
