Goodbye to Good Friday

After much fanfare initially, the Bendigo v Port game scheduled for Good Friday seems to have been shunted back to Easter Saturday due to a double booking at QEO.

Surely the league, and other teams, should explore the possibility of moving their game to the Friday.

Werribee are scheduled to host a game on Easter Saturday night - surely a Good Friday twilight or night match instead at Werribee would get 4,000 - 5,000 people through the gate?

Why not move game to Windy Hill or Port Melbourne?? The VFL should lead the way here and have a Good Friday game. No more excuses just do it.
