Club websites
Spent some time searching through the various club websites. Bendigo Bombers overhaul of their website is excellent, as is the relaunched Scorpions site. A few club sites are looking pretty tired... Box Hill's in particular. While some of the standard FV hosted sites like Williamstowns and Sandringhams just feel like a template-based website (like vflfooty.com!) For those of you that check out the various club sites, how do you rate them?

Box hill's is very tired! I've let them know, but there's only so much they can do, but a website's important these days! Reserves premiership photo, just one at least? Bendigo's is good, but not a lot going on though. Frankston's has had nothing done to it for an eternity, and the FV template ones just seem cheap, compared to SANFL sites. I understand we don't have the money. Some of them are good though, Coburg's trying to make theirs a bit interesting, and Willy often have interesting stuff on. Casey's new site is good, hope the Scorp talk section gets going. Northern Bullants have a lot of good info, and the antz pantz gives a good run down. Port Melbournes is ok, find it a bit annoying to get around though. Tassies is just a page on Tassie Footys page, but overall, this site is head and shoulders above the rest!

Of course it's an overstatement.

There was a cleanout maybe a year ago because there were a whole lot of spam accounts opened - maybe you got knocked off, but I would be surprised if you had been knocked of if you had posted. If you hadn't posted you might have got the flick. It needs another clean up.

I hate to be negative, but our website is the pits. I'd love to see pictures of the 2's flag, I'd love to read updates of how the training is going and most importantly the comings and goings on and off the field. Even a weekly/bi-weekly update would suffice.

I've given the club pics of the 2nds GF, hoping they'd go up on the website . . . if i knew more about it all, i'd happily look after the site!

Maybe if someone stood up & offered to take over the running of BH's web site we might see an improvement. Don't suggest me cos I struggle just replying on forums like this. It would be good to hear how training is going & a little info on some of the new guys. They definately need a photo of the ressies magnificent GF win. Its almost a distant memory & all we got on the site was a fairly brief write up. Come on, someone offer to fix it.
