Yes it looked like another shocker of a crowd at the Beach Road Oval on a perfect day.
You would have expected few St Kilda fans at the match as their senior team were playing at Marvel in the afternoon so it now looks like the Zebras have very few fans of their own left who are bothered to turn up including me!

St Kilda vs Gold Coast had started before Sandy vs Gold Coast game had finished
Great stat Robbo about Essendon losing despite kicking over the 100 pt mark.
Rippibg day at Port Melbourne.. The crowd was a little on the small side, but those who went we rewarded with a thrilling game of football that continued to ebb and flow. I though the Borough, aside from a few lapses were superb and the midfield is working well, but the big improvement was in the forward line, where Archie Manton has add a very strong option as a tall marking forward. Signorello's lead up work was also first rate, while Cody Szust has been damaging alobg side Anastasio who is back to some of his finest form.
Unreal performance by the Borough, the game was almost out of hand in the second quarter but they dug deep. Should give a lot of heart to Port fans, they mightn't be a flag contender but definitely playing with a lot of heart.

* It's time to restore the VFA name.
Some senational goals by port yesterday. Plenty from yesterday would feature in plays of the year highlight reels by years end.

Port Melbourne were very good after half time. Manton played well and anastasio is certainly a live wire. Will give the borough a world of confidence.
