    Went to Latrobe uni.. Who is the Turner on Werribees list? He could be the shortest player in the VFL, but shows good skills, and did well against taller opposition.

    I've heard on my ultra-reliable grapevine ( gday Meg !!!) that young Alex Isailovic who played at Box Hill last year is training down at Coburg. Alex had a family bereavement last year and needed to return to run the family property but was starting to look the goods at ressies level. I'm told he's Jars' cousin which probably explains the unique skills ...not sure he has Jars' unique attitude though !!!!!!!!! ....only joking Jars , I'll still never forget that day at Werribee mate. Funniest bloke ever to pull on a footy jumper for mine !! Anyway , good luck Alex.

    Nothing really big to report at Ports training. Intensity has stepped up a bit with longer drills including longer kicking. Good to see Josh Gibson training well. Sam Troon looks to have really bulked up, and could play a fair bit of senior footy this year. Ports training moves to Newports Athletics track of North Road on Friday... From Monday the Borough are back and training at TEAC oval.
